Welcome Dr. Bojana Djordjevic
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Bojana Djordjevic joined our department on September 1, as Pathologist and Associate Professor.
Dr. Djordjevic joins us from Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre where she was an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Djordjevic graduated from the University of Alberta (MD) and then did pathology residency training in Anatomical Pathology at the University of Toronto. This was followed by fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncologic Pathology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, and then additional fellowship training in Cancer Biomarker Pathology at the same institution.
Bojana has over 64 publications in peer-reviewed journals as well as numerous book chapters, and she is nationally and internationally recognized for her expertise in and contributions to the field of gynecological pathology.
Bojana will be joining our Gynecological Pathology and GI Pathology subspecialty teams, and will be our Cancer Biomarker lead.
