Dr. Quiñones-Mateu’s Inaugural Lab at Western University
The beginning of the 2023-24 Fall/Winter Term witnessed the formation of the first Quiñones-Mateu Lab @ PALM/Schulich/Western University. Continuing with his “paying it forward” approach, aimed at providing the same opportunity he had many years ago to as many underprivileged and/or international students as possible, Dr. Quiñones-Mateu has assembled a diverse research group, from different backgrounds and countries. This all-inclusive culture cultivates an environment that provides a place for all, guaranteeing the diversity of ideas and point of views, essential in any biomedical field, while contributing to Western University’s mission of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
