Welcome Dr. Anurag Sharma
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Anurag Sharma has joined the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine as an Assistant Professor and Pathologist effective August 16, 2023.
Dr. Sharma graduated from the Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences in India and did pathology training at the Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences in India. This was followed by residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the Cleveland Clinic followed most recently by fellowship training in Dermatopathology at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Sharma already has 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals and outside of medicine, has experience as a stand-up comic, level-1 improv artist, and in the great sport of cricket.
Dr. Sharma will be part of our Dermatopathology, GI Pathology, and Head & Neck Pathology subspecialty teams. He will also serve as the Course Co-Coordinator for the Infectious Diseases and Pathology course (9562).
