London Pathology Associates Award of Excellence 2021
Congratulations to the recipients of the 2021 London Pathology Associates (LPA) Staff Awards of Excellence.
The LPA Awards of Excellence are presented in recognition of exceptional mission focus, initiative, co-operation with others, positive attitude and personal character. This year’s awards were presented to Laurie Poynter and the Pathologists Assistant trainee preceptors’ group, consisting of Alyshia Phillips, Stephanie Sharpley, and Andrew Zhang.
Laurie, Administrative Assistant, was identified for her sense of responsibility and professionalism, as well as her contributions to the administrative processes related to molecular testing and quality assurance in cytopathology.
Alyshia, Stephanie and Andrew were recognized for their invaluable contributions to the MClSc Pathologists' Assistant Graduate Program, which include interviewing prospective candidates to the program, teaching and supervision of trainees, organizing virtual teaching sessions, and serving as both role models and mentors for the program.
