Dr. P.C. Shah Plaque
On December 16th a plaque was unveiled in the Medical Sciences building at Western University to honor the generous donation of the Shah family, Dr. & Mrs. P.C. (Raju) & Jyoti Shah, and Mr. & Mrs. Chirag & Ritu Shah to the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. Also attending the ceremony were Western President, Dr. Amit Chakma, and Dean Michael Strong. The Dr. P.C. Raju & Jyoti Shah Graduate and Resident Research Prizes were established in 2016 through this generous gift. Dr. Shah was a pathologist at the Strathroy hospital and a member of Western’s Pathology Faculty from 1990 to 2012. He is a benefactor of our department and is an advocate of pathology education.
