Welcome to Dr. Hanxin Lin
On September 1st the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine will welcome Dr. Hanxin Lin who has been appointed as a Molecular Geneticist at London Health Sciences Centre. Dr. Lin will hold a faculty appointment in our department at the rank of Assistant Professor. Dr. Lin comes to us from McMaster University, where he was a Canadian College of Medical Genetics (CCMG) fellow at the Hamilton Health Sciences Centre. Dr. Lin is trained with molecular/cytogenetic case sign out, lab quality management system, and techniques commonly used in medical genetics, including next-gen sequencing and microarray. His research projects are aimed at examining the prognostic factors for imatinib-treated CML patients and patients received with bone marrow transplantation.
