Description of Research Activities:
Dr. Dick’s laboratory seeks to understand mechanisms of cancer development and metastasis. In particular, mutational events that disrupt cell cycle control, cause genome instability, and create resistance to therapeutics are of interest. At a molecular level, these processes are linked by the Retinoblastoma gene and our research revolves around its role and the consequences of its mutation in cancer.
Research Opportunities:
We are always looking for new graduate students that share our passion for this research.
