Welcome Dr. Shereen Qayyum Zia
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Shereen Qayyum Zia to the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine as an Assistant Professor and Pathologist effective August 1, 2024.
Dr. Zia received her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree in Lahore, Pakistan and then completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit. This was followed by fellowship training in gastrointestinal, liver and transplant pathology at the University of Nebraska. Dr. Zia’s primary clinical role will be in GI and liver pathology.
