Lawson Scientist and Her Lab Recognized with Canadian Research Awards of Excellence
Dr. Cindy Hutnik and her team were honored to recently receive a number of national research awards from the Canadian Ophthalmological Society and the Canadian Glaucoma Society. A diversity of translational and clinical research projects all aimed at innovative approaches to understand and improve patient care were presented.
Dr. Hutnik is a professor in the Departments of Ophthalmology and Pathology at Western University. Her laboratory is in the Lawson Health Research Institute and her clinical practice is at the Ivey Eye Institute, St. Joseph’s Health Center. The following are a list of the projects, award topics and awardees.
