Congratulations Mellonie Carnahan
It is our great pleasure to announce that Mellonie Carnahan has accepted the position of Coordinator, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Client Support.
Mellonie has 23 years’ experience in both the public and private sectors providing administration and financial leadership and guidance. Her extensive experience includes multiple roles with The University of Western Ontario, as well as the Robarts Research Institute, and St. Joseph’s Health Care London.
For the last five years Mellonie has served as the Finance and HR Coordinator with the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at UWO. Mellonie has been a highly valued member of the UWO PaLM team, and the Department has thrived under her leadership and guidance. While we will miss her contributions to our team, we are happy that Melonie will remain a member of the PaLM family, and know that she will excel in her new role!
Mellonie is a currently working on completing her Degree at Athabasca University (Bachelor of Applied Studies with course work focused on Accounting, Human Resources and Organizational Behaviour). She is also a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CGA Legacy Student).
Mellonie is a collaborative leader who will help facilitate the development of a shared vision and strategy for the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine team to help realize our potential.
Mellonie’s first day is Monday October 1st, 2018.
