PaLM welcomes Dr. Stephanie Frisbee
Pathology and Laboratory Medicine welcomes Dr. Stephanie Frisbee!
Dr. Subrata Chakrabarti and the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine extend a warm welcome to Dr. Stephanie Frisbee, who has been appointed to our department effective July 1, 2016 as a full-time Assistant Professor.
Dr. Frisbee comes to us from the West Virginia University School of Public Health where she was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Policy, Management & Leadership. Dr. Frisbee earned her PhD in Public Policy Analysis in 2010 from the Department of Political Science at West Virginia University. In 2011 Dr. Frisbee was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Medicine, West Virginia University School of Medicine. She was also a member of the Center for Basic & Translational Stroke Research at the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Frisbee’s recent research has focused on measuring, understanding and improving cardiovascular health in populations.
At Western, Dr. Frisbee will be working with our department to develop and implement our new program in One Health.
