PaLM Fundraising Event - Spring Raffle

The Pathology and Laboratory Medicine department is currently planning a Gift Basket Raffle.  There will be approximately 5 different gift baskets.  Money raised from the ticket sales will be donated to The London Food Bank.  At this time we are hoping that you will be able to donate an item (or two) for one or more of our gift baskets.  We’ve created a list of suggestions for what we can use to create the baskets for the raffle, but please feel free to add something you think would fit in as well.  We will also accept cash donations.

If there is a specific company or organization you think might donate an item or cash, we can prepare a request for donation letter for you.

We are thinking of creating the following baskets…

Spring Basket, Movie (night out) Basket, Spa Basket, Craft Basket, Gourmet Basket, and or Car Care basket.

Ideas of items that can go in the basket(s)?

  • Scarf
  • Coffee mugs
  • Candy (chocolate bars, licorice, suckers, gum, skittles etc.)
  • Food (noodles, spices, oils, sauces, crackers, cheese, etc.)
  • Hot Chocolate
  • Kitchen utensils, etc.
  • Gift cards (Apple, Tim Horton, Starbucks, Chapters,
    Movie tickets, Grocery store)
  • Sunglasses
  • Picture frames
  • Books
  • Magazines
  • Games (board, cards, etc.)
  • Tea
  • Sparkling wine
  • Hats
  • Chocolate Bunny
  • Gardening stuff
  • Umbrella
  • Bubbles
  • Skipping rope
  • Kite
  • Games with an Easter theme
  • Candle(s)
  • Exercise book/CD
  • Healthy cook book or CD/DVD
