Clerks
Medical Clerks usually do a 2-week or 4-week elective in the NICU. Clerks are assigned to an NICU team, attend deliveres, and are shceduled for one weekend call. They also spend time in the Developmental Follow-up Clinic and Post Discharge Infant Nutrition Clinic. Visiting clerks are welcome and must apply through Schulich School of Medicine. Once your elective is confirmed, the Program Administrator, Carrie Kinsman, will contact you prior to your elective start date with more information.
Observers
We accept observers into the program throughout the year. Most observers come for 1 day to gain an understanding of the day-to-day operations of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. If you would like to request an observation experience, please contact Carrie Kinsman for availability.
