The clinical centre for Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgical (MICs) Procedures, is London Health Science Centres (LHSC), University Hospital. Here at University Hospital, MICs procedures are supported by a massive clinical team of cardioloists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, intensivists, and perfusionists.
LHSC's University Hospital is also a teaching hospital for Western University's Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. So in addition to clinical excellence, our centre is also heavily invested in research and academics. As such, many of the clinical staff also have academic appointments as faculty members, where through their respective departments, they are involved in ground-breaking and internationally renowned research and academia.
