Why radiology? Radiology is such a diverse and interesting specialty; it offers the potential to help a huge magnitude of patients. It's a specialty that helps to support others and is a highly valued member of the medical community. Plus, the people in specialty are all amazing to work with!
Why Western? London is the perfect size city for training and for work life balance. The training here at Western can be intense at times, but that makes for the best learning. Additionally the balance of academic and community practice allows for a diverse training experience and provides an opportunity to get a taste of both aspects of practice before going off to the real world. The staff to resident ratio is optimal for learning. As a bonus, all the residents and staff here are easy to work with and collegial.
