Dr. Amir Awwad (Cardiothoracic Radiologist) – January 4, 2021
Dr. Awwad is a Cardiothoracic Radiologist who joins the Department of Medical Imaging as an Assistant Professor.

- Medical degree from Kasr Alainy School of Medicine, Cairo University (2002)
- MSc Clinical Engineering (Distinction), University of Liverpool (2005)
- Surgical Training (Manchester – Addenbrookes – Belfast) 2011
- Radiology Specialty Training Nottingham Certified Specialist in Diagnostic Radiology, sub-specialization in Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular & Academic Radiology (2017)
- Advanced Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship, Royal Papworth 2019
- Consultant Radiologist, Essex Cardiothoracic Centre (2018-2020)
