Welcome to the Convocation Page for Western University's Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry's MD Class of 2025
Western University Senate has made the strategic decision to consolidate convocations across campus beginning with the June 2025 ceremonies. As part of this initiative, we are excited to share that the Schulich Undergraduate Medical Education 2025 Convocation will take place at a new venue and time!
WHAT: Convocation Ceremony for the MD Class of 2025
WHEN: Tuesday, June 10, 2025, 3:00PM
WHERE: Canada Life Place (formerly Budweiser Gardents)
This new venue will provide a dynamic and accessible setting to celebrate your achievements alongside family, friends, and the Western University community. You can find the official announcement here.

Additionally, Schulich will be hosting a Meds 2025 Graduation Celebration Event.
Please join us in an hour-long celebration of the class of 2025, including an address from your class Valedictorian, Nicole Willis, messages from faculty leaders, recognition of significant award winners, and a chance to gather as a class before the afternoon Convocation at Canada Life Place.
WHEN: Tuesday, June 10, 2025, 9:30-10:30am
WHERE: Natural Sciences Centre, Room 145. A light reception will follow in the Physics and Astronomy Atrium.
Seating: Due to room size limitations, we can only accommodate three guests per graduate in Natural Sciences Room 145. You are welcome to let us know how many seats you are hoping for, and if others in your class request fewer seats, we will contact you to let you know if additional seats become available.
Parking: Free parking will be available at Western’s Huron Flats Parking Lot on June 10. You can view a campus parking map here. Shuttle buses will transport you and your guests from Huron Flats to the Natural Sciences Centre on the morning of June 10. Return shuttles will operate from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon following the Graduation Celebration.
Special Considerations/Mobility Concerns: If any of your guests have mobility concerns and or need assistance navigating campus, please let us know. To help us collect this information, we’ve created a Microsoft Form for you to complete.
Graduation Gowns: For information on graduation gown ordering and pickup, please refer to the instructions outlined via email from the Learner Experience Office (Pam Bere).
