Instruments

Instruments and accessories in the BioNMR facility are used for liquid NMR experiments to analyze biomolecules at the atomic resolutions including characterization of small molecules, structural and dynamic studies of proteins, drug and receptor interactions amongst others.

Sensitivity of NMR

Typical sample volumes: 300 to 600 microliters
       Small molecule concentrations:  >1mM
Protein concentrations: 25 to 1000 micromolar
Wide range of buffers and salts can be used
       Non-destructive: Sample is returned
       Temperature range: -10 to 60oC
