Karen Vecchio, Member of Parliament for Elgin-Middlesex-London, paid a visit to LHSC today. During her tour, she had the opportunity to explore our lab and gain insights into our efforts to enhance drug safety for pregnant women. Thank you, MP Vecchio, for taking the time to drop by and engage with our work!

Magdalene Zabek joins the lab as our first Masters student. She will be studying the placental transfer for two new COVID-19 drugs using our ex vivo placental perfusion model. Welcome Magdalene!
