Dr. Bing Siang Gan Inducted as New CSPS President
Dr. Bing Siang Gan (pictured above with Dr. Rob Harrop transferring the presidency) became the President of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons at the recent meeting in St. John's. Dr. Gan completed his undergraduate studies and MD degree at the University of Rotterdam followed by a PhD at the University of Calgary. He then completed a rotating internship in Saskatchewan and Plastic Surgery residency training at Western. Following two fellowship years in Toronto and Boston, he returned to Toronto General Hospital as a consultant for two years, and then joined the Division of Plastic Surgery and the Roth | McFarlane Hand & Upper Limb Centre at Western where he has practiced since 1998. Congratulations, Dr. Gan!
