Research Interests
As program head for laboratory medicine, Dr. Chin-Yee's most recent research has focused on laboratory utilization and optimizing testing for patients. He is interested in integrating genomic testing into patient care specifically in the areas of hematologic malignancies as well as rapid diagnostic testing for emerging diseases such as the COVID-19 pandemic. He is involved as co-investigator in a large number of clinical trials in the area of hematological malignancies and hematological conditions such as paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria.
