Undergraduate
The Hematology Division provides education within the Undergraduate Medicine curriculum. The first year Blood course (MED 5121) covers all of the basic concepts in blood physiology in health and disease. All Division members actively participate in this highly regarded course which has been consitently awarded high rankings by Schulich's medical students and resulted in our members being honoured with several prestigious teaching awards.
Our Division members consistently contribute to the Clinical Skills courses in years 1 and 2 of the Undergraduate curriculum. In years 3 and 4 clinical clerks rotate through the inpatient unit, outpatient clinics and consulation services. The Division offers opportunities for elective rotations and observerships. Elective trainees must meet the eligibility requirements of the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. Information on how to apply can be found in the follwing links for Medical students and residents.
