Peter Sabiri (Summer Research Student) wins Travel Award
Congratulations to Peter Sabri (DDS 2021) on being awarded one of three 2018 Schulich Dentistry Research Day Travel Awards.
Peter will represent our Schulich Dentistry Research Opportunity Program at the prestigious 25th Hinman Student Research Symposium in Memphis, TN.
Peter was supervised in the summer by Dr. Doug Hamilton, and will present his project entitled 'Epsilon Sarcoglycan as a novel mediator of cell adhesion to titanium'.
Schulich Dentistry Research Opportunity Program (SDROP) provides an opportunity for students already enrolled in Schulich Dentistry's DDS program to contribute to clinical and basic science research. Each year, a limited number of studentships are awarded by competition for the upcoming summer.
