    Georgia Nikoloudak awarded the Dean's PhD stipend for Graduate Research.

    Congratulations to Georgia for being awarded a Dean's PhD stipend for Graduate Research. This award provides Georgia with a PhD stipend for up to four years of funding, to a maximum of $25,000 per year. Georgia will also be attending the annual Awards of Excellence event in the spring, at which time Dean Strong will formally acknowledge her success. (Read full entry)

    K. Martin, DDS 2015, wins Quintessence Research Award

    The 2015 Quintessence Research Award was presented to Kathleen Martin (DDS 2015) at the Convocation Ceremony and Awards Luncheon for the Dentistry Class of 2015. This award is given annually to a graduating dental student who has been exemplary in research in the undergraduate dental program. Kathleen worked on her research under the supervision of Dr. Doug Hamilton. The focus of her project was on development of novel scaffolds that would bind and slowly release growth factors (basic fibroblast growth factor) to aid in gingival (gum) tissue regeneration.  (Read full entry)
