2 Year Fellowship

Dynamic faculty committed to teaching. Both core and elective rotations occur in a variety of settings from rural to inpatient. Strong links with subspecialties offering electives in Behavioural Neurology, Movement Disorders, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Exciting opportunity for a joint fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology. Research skills are fostered with significant opportunities to participate in research at varied levels and many areas of interest.

Program Resources: Division of Geriatric Medicine at Western University has been very supportive of residents; supporting international travel to meetings, leadership courses, and support and mentoring in establishing careers. Our excellent Evaluation and Research group is available to assist with research projects.

Dr. Alexandrea Peel PGY4

Alexandrea Peel Image

Dr. Alexandrea Peel is originally from Bluevale Ontario; a small farming community north of London. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, and her Medical School at McMaster University. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine in Thunder Bay. She is looking forward to moving back to Southern Ontario with her Husband Andy to start her fellowship in Geriatrics. She cannot wait to join the Western University team.

Dr. Nihal Haque PGY4

Nihal Haque Image

Nihal completed his Bachelor of Health Sciences at McMaster University. He then pursued his Doctor of Medicine and core Internal Medicine training at Western University. His research interests include systematic reviews.
