Laura Allen
I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo in Health Studies. Following that, I completed an M.Sc. in Epidemiology & Biostatistics at Western University. I have been working with the Division of General Surgery at LHSC since 2015 as a Research Associate to Dr. Kelly Vogt, focusing on research in Emergency General Surgery. I have enjoyed collaborating with residents and faculty across the department and hope for many more opportunities to do so and expand my growing knowledge of the General Surgery field.
When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 3 children on our farm, as well as baking, reading and spending time with my extended family.
