Research Manager, General Surgery Experimental Laboratory
Crystal ensures the smooth and efficient execution of clinical and basic bench research projects lead by several surgeons within the Division. She also runs the day-to-day operation of the General Surgery Experimental Laboratory (GSEL) space. Her work focusses on projects relating to pancreatic and liver diseases and their surgical management, including transplantation. She manages all aspects of the projects she's involved in including the planning, preparation, funding, execution, and data analysis of retrospective and prospective studies as well as clinical trials. Crystal works closely with members of the Center for Liver and Pancreas Surgery, the Baker Centre for Pancreatic Cancer, the Multi-Organ Transplant Program, and the GSEL Research Group.
