Stephanie Skanes
I am originally from London and was born into a family of healthcare workers, sparking my interest in medicine at a very young age. I left London for my undergrad degree at McMaster in Biochemistry and went on to study Medicine at uOttawa. There, I fell in love with General Surgery and am thrilled to be returning home to join the Western family. My interests outside of medicine include music, snowboarding, reading and eating good food.
