Rachel Peet
I am originally from Goderich, a small town located on Lake Huron in Southwestern Ontario. I attended Western University for my Undergraduate Degree and completed a Bachelor of Medical Studies in Biochemistry and Pathology of Human Disease. I love to travel and took a year off before starting medical school to backpack through Europe, South America and Asia! When I came home, I moved to Thunder Bay to start medical school at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. I discovered General Surgery early in medical school, and am thrilled to be returning to Western to begin residency. Outside of medicine, I love anything that gets me outdoors and I spend lots of time hiking, camping and snowshoeing!
