Lucy Yang
I was born in China and lived there for the first 10 years of my life. I then moved to Baltimore, MD and eventually ended up in London, Ontario by the age of 15. From then I completed my honors specialization in physiology at Western and continued to pursue my medical education at Western. I feel extremely lucky and excited to be starting my General Surgery Residency at Western. My interests outside of general surgery include racquet sports (specifically tennis and squash), swimming, trying out all sorts of exotic and weird foods, and travelling. Recently I’ve become extremely interested in scuba diving after diving in Mexico, so I plan on obtaining my scuba diving certification in the next year or so.
