I grew up in Saudi Arabia and attended medical school, a 7-year program, at King Saud University in Riyadh. I then completed a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, in Baltimore United States.
I am delighted to join Western University and I am extremely excited about this new chapter of my life both professionally and culturally. I look forward to continuing my surgical training with the incredible team of staff and residents here in London. After residency, I would like to pursue a career as a scholar, activist and leader focusing on research, innovation and delivery of high-value healthcare to populations of surgical patients.
In my free time, I’m an avid fitness enthusiast; I enjoy different physical activities like playing soccer, running and racquet sports.
