Rachel Liu
I grew up in Vancouver and attended the University of British Columbia for both my undergraduate studies and Master of Science training in Neuroscience. After briefly working in the biotechnology industry on stem cell research products, I began my journey in medicine at my alma mater. It has been an incredible four years so far and I cannot be more excited to be pursuing my long-time dream of becoming a surgeon at Western University’s General Surgery Program. My other interests include running, salsa dancing, hiking, travelling, scuba diving, and I am venturing into rock climbing.
