Madeline Lemke
Growing up in Toronto I once aspired to be a ballet dancer, but shifted gears and pursued a biochemistry degree at the University of Waterloo. Following this, I completed my master’s degree in Health Services Research at the University of Toronto, with a focus on blood management in liver surgery, which sparked my initial interest in general surgery. I then went on to complete my medical training at Queen’s University and am excited to bring my passion and curiosity to my general surgery residency at Western University. My research interests include improving surgical outcomes and surgical education.
