Research Day with the University at Buffalo and McMaster University
Faculty and students from the Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health, University at Buffalo, Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence and Impact, McMaster University, and the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Western University, met in Buffalo on May 25th, 2018 to discuss research in their field and to foster collaborative links across the institutions.
The day's agenda included research presentations and roundtable discussions, as well as a display of research posters.
The presenters from the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Western University, were Dr. Greta Bauer, Professor, Klajdi Puka, PhD Candidate and Mary Bammimore, PhD Candidate.
Dr. Saverio Stranges, Department Chair and Professor, Dr. Marnin Heisel, Associate Professor, and Dr. Sisira Sarma, Associate Professor, were leaders for roundtable discussions.
Following the research day, the Western University delegation, enjoyed a scenic stop in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
