What is DLS?

To support instructional practices within Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.
To evaluate educational technology and provide support for implementing instructional resources for teaching at Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.
To offer support for pilot projects related to educational technology and instructional tools.
To offer support and guidance in the areas of instructional design, educational development and web development for educational purposes, and training for instructional tools at Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.

Design and develop online learning modules and learning resources
Consult with faculty for course design and planning
Offer suggestions for instructional best practices
Develop web resources for educational purposes for Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry departments
Train faculty and students to use educational technology available at Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry
Work with other educational units to coordinate delivery of course materials
