The Approach to Epilepsy in Children and Adolescents
- Dr. Egidio Spinelli
  1. Describe the investigation of seizures in children and adolescents
  2. Explain the approach to treatment of seizures in children and adolescents
  3. Review the appropriate monitoring of anti-epileptic drugs in children and adolescents
A Comprehensive Approach to Cerebral Palsy Diagnosis and Management: Supporting Development Throughout Childhood
- Dr. Sarah Pilon
  1. Recognize red flags for cerebral palsy, use appropriate screening tools for timely diagnosis, and apply the classification systems employed.
  2. Describe local referral pathways for early intervention and identify resources available to support the diagnosis and ongoing management of cerebral palsy for both healthcare providers and families.
  3. Adopt a multidisciplinary approach to managing cerebral palsy, developing individualized care plans focused on functional outcomes and appropriate interventions.

Pharmacological Treatment of Interfering Behaviours in Developmental Disabilities
- Dr. Rob Nicolson

  1. Describe the common reasons for the initiation of psychopharmacological treatment in people with developmental disabilities
  2. Explain the approach to the treatment of aggression in people with developmental disabilities
  3. Elucidate the treatment of inattention and hyperactivity in people with developmental disabilities
