Epilepsy Surgery Fellowship
The Epilepsy Surgery Fellowship is meant to provide sub-specialty training in the surgical treatment of epilepsy to fully trained neurosurgeons. The fellow will receive training in the pre-surgical workup of patients being considered for epilepsy surgery as well as the decision-making process for planning invasive electrode studies and surgical procedures. The fellow will obtain substantial surgical training in stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG), resective and disconnective techniques as well as neuromodulatory approaches to epilepsy surgery, such as vagus nerve stimulation. At the end of the fellowship, the neurosurgeon will be prepared for independent practice as an epilepsy surgeon.
Selection Criteria
Application review, shortlisted candidates will be interviewed.
