Welcome to the Division of Clinical Pharmacology. We are a Division within in the Department of Medicine at Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University. Our faculty is dedicated to advancing our knowledge of determinants of variation in drug disposition, adverse drug reactions, and to uncover novel mechanisms of drug action. We believe in a multidisciplinary approach to studying drug responsiveness in health and disease. Expertise in our division encompass areas of Personalized Medicine, Drug Metabolizing Enzymes & Transporters, Pharmacokinetics, Drug Interactions & Polypharmacy, Drug Safety, Vascular Response & Stroke, and Pharmacoepidemiology of relevance to both adult and pediatric patient populations. In addition to research, we offer an outstanding subspecialty residency training program in Clinical Pharmacology. Clinical Pharmacology is a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada recognized subspecialty. We are one of the few sites in Canada offering a Clinical Pharmacology training program.
