Congratulations to the Classes of 2020
Dear learners,
Congratulations on your graduation and for completing your programs. Your hard work and efforts have paid off and we are proud of your achievements.
Certainly none of us expected that your academic year would be interrupted by a global pandemic and that our lives would have changed so much in such a short time. We have all felt some frustration, anxiety, and concern not just about our programs, School and future, but for our families, friends, country and our global community.
You have all risen to the challenge, and surpassed each obstacle the pandemic presented to you.
Thank you for your commitment to your studies, for your patience, for adapting time and again, and for your innovative approaches to helping your peers and your community.
We want to wish you all the best as you take the next steps toward your future. As alumni of Schulich Medicine & Dentistry, you join 25,000 peers around the world – who are leaders in health, research and education.
Take all the lessons you have learned during your years of study, and most especially during the past few months with you.
Feel purple and proud of what you have achieved.
Celebrate and enjoy your successes.
Embrace the future.
And while we won’t be able to spend too much time together in person during the next few months, we look forward to connecting virtually and to hearing from you on a regular basis.
Stay well.
