CERI's Director, Dr. Chris Watling, has recently received two awards. He is this year's recipient of the Schulich Excellence in Education "Distinguished Leader Award", which recognizes an individual who has demonstrated international leadership in medical education, and whose commitment to education has had a positive impact on the learner experience. He is also among 16 Faculty Scholars named this year by Western. Recipients are considered all-around scholars and hold the title for two years, while receiving $7,000 each year for scholarly activities.
