In Memoriam: Dr. Ian Walker

With great sadness, we share the news that Dr. Ian Walker, a Professor Emeritus in Biochemistry, has passed away. Ian was known in the department as an excellent teacher and researcher and was the first lecturer of Biochemisty 4410. He taught several of the senior faculty, and some remember visiting his office as undergraduates to play with the puppy that he smuggled in. Dr. Walker was the Acting Chair of the department from 1986-87, while Dr. McMurray was on his study-leave. The obituary is available in the London Free Press.
