The goal of our research is to understand the fundamental processes regulating normal and mutated intestinal/colonic stem cells and to define the role of these stem cells in tissue regeneration and carcinogenesis. Our team is comprised of exceptional members who are crucial to the achievement of our research goals. We strive for excellence and encourage innovative thinking while working collaboratively with other team members, other research departments at Western and with scientists from outside institutions.
