Welcome Dr. Martin Duennwald
Anatomy & Cell Biology is very pleased to welcome Dr. Martin Duennwald as a new primary appointee to the Department, with cross appointments in Biochemistry and Pathology & Laboratory Medicine. Dr. Duennwald's collaborative research program focuses on the role of protein misfolding and cellular protein quality control in neurodegenerative diseases and cancer. His research combines work in yeast models, cultured mammalian cells, in vitro biochemistry, and pathological studies. Dr. Duennwald also currently serves as a member of the Anatomy & Cell Biology Graduate Affairs Committee.
