Francois Gallant, PhD

François is a Mitacs Postdoctoral Research Fellow with Dalhousie Family Medicine and Vitalité Health Network. He has expertise in longitudinal observational studies and quantitative analysis. He is interested empirical methods and the creative use of observational data to contribute to the evidence base. François hopes to address research questions that will facilitate the empowerment of individuals, families, and communities to take charge of their own health. Currently, he helps guide first-year family medicine residents in research projects at a teaching primary health care clinic. He completed his PhD at the Université de Sherbrooke in 2023.
