Daphne To, PhD (student)
University of Toronto (Ontario)
I am a PhD student in Health Systems Research at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto and at Women’s College Hospital. I am also a chiropractor, a Fellow of the College of Chiropractic Sciences (Canada), and an Assistant Professor at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where I focus on clinical teaching and enhancing skills in evidence-based practice. The things I see and hear in clinic are what drives my research interests – I want to find ways to help clinicians and health systems be better at what they are meant to do (that is, help people!). My research interests are in implementation science, designing and evaluating complex interventions, health professional behaviour change, and quality improvement. My current work is centred around developing an intervention to help pharmacists deliver minor ailments services more effectively.
