Ruth Martin-Misener, PhD

Dr. Ruth Martin-Misener NP, PhD, FAAN, FCAN is a Professor and Director at Dalhousie University School of Nursing, Co-Director of the Canadian Centre for Advanced Practice Nursing at McMaster University, and Affiliate Scientist at Nova Scotia Health and Maritime SPOR Support Unit. Her health services research uses mixed methods to evaluate implementation and outcomes of innovative interdisciplinary team-based models of care in primary health care and long-term care with a particular focus on nurse practitioner and other advanced and specialized nursing roles. She is a 2007 alumnus of TUTOR-PCH and a member of the TUTOR faculty since 2008.
