Erin Wilson is a family nurse practitioner, rural health researcher and educator with a background in rural and remote practice. Erin currently works in the UNBC School of Nursing as an Assistant Professor and Coordinator for the MScN and RNCP programs. She holds an interdisciplinary PhD in Health Sciences and maintains clinical practice as a NP. Her research program focuses on strengthening rural health systems through partnered approaches to support delivery of high quality team-based primary health care in rural communities. Erin is active in provincial and national networks committed to nursing education and practice, she has published and presented nationally and internationally on topics related to team-based primary health care, the role of NPs, and promoting equity-oriented care.
