I am an Associate Professor at the School of Rehabilitation Therapy and Director of the Health Services and Policy Research Institute at Queen's University. As an occupational therapist by clinical training my research is focused on team-based primary care with an emphasis on supporting older adults to live well in the community. I am particularly interested in understanding the value of interprofessional primary care providers and teams (e.g. occupational therapist, social worker, pharmacist) on patient experiences and health system outcomes. My work also explores primary care within integrated health systems. My research largely uses mixed methods, and I have expertise in case study designs and community engaged approaches.
