Take the Grand Challenge

Friday, November 1, 2013

David Holdsworth, PhD, of the Robarts Research Institute has submitted an application to Grand Challenges Canada, as part of their "Stars in Global Health" competition.

His proposal involves the development of a low-cost system to diagnose fractures in low- and middle-income countries, and he needs your help.

A component of the evaluation is derived from public viewing of the research proposal, which is described in a two-minute video at this website:

The videos are only available until November 15th. Please help our colleague by taking the time to view this proposal, and by "liking" it. It's a worthwhile project, that is dependent on this agency's funding.

Holdsworth holds the Dr. Sandy Kirkley Chair in Musculoskeletal Research, and is a professor in the Departments of Surgery and Medical Biophysics at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.
