Western gets a research funding boost from CFI

Researchers at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry has four of the six Western projects receiving nearly $1.15 million today from the Canada Foundation for Innovation. They are:
Bryan Heit (Microbiology and Immunology): $199,975 - Molecular to whole-Animal analysis of inflammation, infection and immune function
Jean Theberge (Medical Biophysics, Medical Imaging, Psychiatry -Schulich medicine & Dentistry and Lawson Health Research Institute): $149,895 - NeuroPsychiatry Imaging Lab
Bradley Urquhart (Physiology and Pharmacology): $284,149 - Personalizing drug therapy to increase safety and efficacy of medicines
Susanne Schmid (Anatomy and Cell Biology): $197,39 - Exploring cellular mechanisms underlying cognitive function in health and disease
